WhatsApp has the broadest reach — most prospects already have it installed.

Setup

  1. In your Rentalot dashboard, go to Channels > WhatsApp
  2. Click Connect WhatsApp — this opens the Meta Embedded Signup flow
  3. Log in with your Facebook account and follow the prompts
  4. Meta creates a WhatsApp Business Account for you automatically
  5. Once complete, your channel shows as Active

No phone number purchase needed — Meta provisions one for you during signup.

Sharing Your Number

Once connected, you get:

  • A wa.me link (e.g., wa.me/15551234567) — share this anywhere
  • A QR code — print it or embed on your website

Message Limits

WhatsApp has sending limits based on your business verification status:

Rentalot will prompt you to complete Meta Business Verification when you approach the 250/day limit.

Tips

  • Complete business verification early to avoid hitting limits
  • Your WhatsApp business profile (name, description, photo) is set during the Embedded Signup
